The 11th of August 1799, was conditionally baptised by me, the undersigned missionary priest, Marie, daughter of Edward EAGLE and Catherine EAGLE of Georgia, now the ligitimate wife of Augustin GIDDERY,* of this parish, aged about 23 years, not having sufficient certainty of the validity of the baptism she received as a child in one of the Protestant communions which she has abandoned this day in abjuring the error of the Protestants and professing the Catholic, apostolic, and Roman religion. The godfather was Simon SAULNIER, laborer, the godmother Marie Suzanne AMIRAULT of this parish, who declared they did not know how to sign, as did the person baptized and her husband, present. The 12th of November 1801 was buried by me, undersigned, in the cemetery of this parish the body of Marie Marguerite LeBLANC, widow of Pierre DOUCET of this parish, died the ninth of the same month, in the presence of her children, Olivier and Anselme DOUCET, her sons-in-law Benoit and Anselme MELANSON, her brother-in-law Athanase DOUCET, and several other persons relatives and friends, all of this parish.

From the 1st of August 17999 to 21 December of the same year, Abbe SIGOGNE baptized 171 persons, had one abjuration made, made two burials, 18 marriages which had previously been contracted in the presence of witnesses in the absence of a priest, and gave first communion to 11 married women.
